Federation Access Policy

The Federation Access Policy (FAP) regulates the requirements for participation in the federation.

Universities or scientific institutions in the portfolio of the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts Baden-Württemberg (MWK) can become members of the bwCard Federation. Since the bwCard Federation is based on the authentication and authorization infrastructure bwIDM, membership in the bwIDM Federation is also required. Furthermore, the institution must be technically and organizationally able and willing to implement the features of the bwCard.
